How the reveal works
Each round shows one figure's real portrait from our collection, starting heavily blurred and darkened through a CSS filter, then sharpening in a series of clarity levels as the clock runs down. Guessing at an earlier, blurrier level scores more points than waiting for a clear image — but a wrong guess costs a level of clarity, so recognizing a face confidently and early is worth more than waiting it out. This isn't a true silhouette cutout (that would require image-processing work this static site doesn't do) — it's a progressive blur-to-clear reveal of each figure's genuine, existing portrait.
